Emily Wood, the new girl in Wright middle school has some major issues. while crossing the line of "The Daisies", three popular girls that make Emily's life terrible,Emily has found her-self hiring New York's most powerful P.R. (public relations) firm to up her ranking in popularity and stop the problems with "The Daisies". Now Emily has a shot of a new image, Brand Em! As Em makes her way up the popularity ladder she finds her-self having even more problems than before. All Emily wants to do is undo everything. As her talent, family, friends, and P.R. firm help her choose the right path she begins to realize how popularity can be more than just hanging out with the "cool" kids.

Mrs. Ginger Rue did a fascinating job o her book,"Brand-New Emily". This book has a great story and is entertaining. Mrs. Rue gives us a fictional view on how social groups work in middle schools. She is a great author who knows how to write a story that relates to middle school girls. I loved this book because her ability to keep reader interested by relating to them. I would advise other young adults to read this book. "Brand- New Emily" has some mild content in it, this book is more for readers 12-young adults.
